Introducing: The Workspace

We have recognised the increase in 'flexible working' and therefore ‘The Workspace’ will open in Cromwell’s on 14th January.

‘Flexible working’ seems to be the buzz words of the moment as more and more people work from home, on the road, or outside ‘traditional’ working hours. We have recognised this movement and therefore ‘The Workspace’ will open in Cromwell’s on 14th January.
 
CEO Chris Hogan explained “Working patterns have changed in recent years and many people now work from home, or ‘on call’. Half our membership is of working age and that’s why we thought it was imperative to establish an area where Members can do business at the Club.”

Council and Chris announced the plan to open a working area at the Open Meeting in November and now that Cromwell’s Fine Dining has been extended, the room was the obvious choice for the daytime Workspace. With its private setting away from the hustle and bustle of the Clubhouse and excellent wi-fi, The Workspace will be available 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday, before the restaurant opens.

While there will be no printing facilities the space has under gone some alteration ahead of opening. These included the addition of extra power sockets for those working on laptops and further daytime lighting was installed.

No working area is complete without coffee, and the extensive Cromwell’s bean-to-cup coffee menu will be available as well as bar drinks and the broad sandwich menu. It will provide the perfect place for those looking to work or meet clients in a luxury environment.
