Enjoy a programme of trips to theatreland

The Theatre Group is a very successful and long standing interest group, with monthly outings to a wide variety of the most popular West End shows, ballets at the Royal Opera House and trips to regional theatres such as Chichester, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Watermill.

A very mixed selection of shows is selected in order to appeal to as much of a cross-section of theatrical taste as possible, including straight plays, comedies, farces, thrillers and musicals. A luxury coach takes members from Phyllis Court directly to the theatre and then back again in great comfort. This makes theatre-going an easy and pleasurable experience.

The Theatre Group is non-profit making and benefits from group discount ticket prices. This means that seats are generally much cheaper than regular box office prices, with the price of the coach included.

Members receive regular newsletters with news of the forthcoming programme, and seats are allocated by ballot. Theatre Group members receive priority booking, but in the event of there being tickets left over following the draw, all Phyllis Court members and non-members are very welcome. Available tickets are advertised in In Touch, the club’s weekly newsletter.
