Put your snooker skills to the test

The Snooker Club has 50 members participating in this fun and recognised sport.

Members can put their skills to the test in a variety of competitions and tournaments:

• A ‘Ladder’ competition encourages members to play regularly – to improve standards a professional snooker coach is employed (fully booked every two months!)
• One scratch and five handicap tournaments are organised every year
• The game of Colours is only played at Phyllis Court, and quarterly competitions are enjoyed to find the World Champion

There are cups for all tournaments. In future the club hopes to arrange friendly matches against other local clubs.

The table is also used by non-snooker club members playing games with friends.
