Bridge Club

Phyllis Court Bridge Club is a friendly, thriving Club with around 300 members. We welcome new members of all experience levels and offer:

Duplicate sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Weekly Beginners and Beginners Plus Bridge Classes

Supervised play on Friday mornings

Facilities for Rubber & Social Bridge on Thursdays, and

A regular Programme of social events such as Swiss Pairs, Parties, Dinners and Quizzes

There is a host system in operation for all duplicate sessions so anyone unable to find a partner is always guaranteed a game.

Phyllis Court Bridge Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union and Master Points are awarded at all our Duplicate Sessions.

All results, competitions and events are posted to the Phyllis Court Bridge Website.

Canoe & Kayak Club

Club paddles on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10am (prep) for 10:30am on the water.

Dance Club

The Dance Club meets on Monday evenings in the Ballroom & Finlay Suite.

Line Dancing from 7pm to 8pm.

Ballroom & Latin from 8.15pm to 10.15pm.

The Dance Club welcomes all Phyllis Court Club Members to a 'free' taster session in either Line Dancing, for solo Members, or Ballroom & Latin Dancing, for two Members together, to dance as a pair.

For all future sessions you are charged the Annual IG Membership fee and for Tuition Sessions.

Ladies Luncheon Club

Ladies Luncheon Club meets every second Wednesday of each month with a lunch and a speaker (unless there is a conflict of dates such as with Henley Regatta when the Chairman sends out a message to our members).

Photography Group

The Photography Group holds regular 'meetings' in the Clubhouse, normally starting at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday of each month; new members are very welcome to join and are encouraged to come along to see what we are all about.

River & Boating

River and Boating hold a monthly evening in the Club on the first Friday of the month (except during Regatta). The evening is open to all IG Members, please contact events.riverboatinggroup@gmail.com for more information. Or membership.riverboatinggroup@gmail.com if you wish to join.

Scrabble

The Scrabble group play weekly from 10am - 12pm every Tuesday. There are monthly meetings on the first Friday of the month from 6pm - 7pm followed by a supper with a further game of Scrabble from 8pm until 9pm.

The One Club

Coffee Mornings at 11am in the Regatta Bar on the first Saturday of the month.

Regular Bar Evenings at 6pm in the Members' Bar.

The Singers

The Singers meet every Monday in the Ballroom and rehearse from 2.15pm to 4pm. New Members are always welcome. The group does not hold auditions so if you enjoy singing and would like to know more, please join on a Monday or contact Patricia Williams chairman.thesingers@gmail.com
